Operating Principle:
Under normal operating conditions, the valve disc assembly remains closed to seal the steam. When the container pressure exceeds the normal operating pressure, the valve disc opens to release excess steam. Once the pressure returns to the normal operating range, the valve disc automatically closes and resets.
