Reverse Domed Scored Bursting Disc / YC

This is a type of bursting disc that features a reverse domed shape and is machined with cross-shaped or "C"-shaped slots on the concave side of the disc. The convex surface of the disc is located on the high-pressure side of the pressure system. When the protected pressure system is subjected to overpressure, the disc loses stability and flips over along the weakened slots, releasing pressure to protect the pressure-bearing equipment.

Parameter characteristics

Only suitable for gas media (can be used for gas-liquid mixture media with special structure).

Suitable for medium pressure, pulsating pressure or full vacuum conditions.

The maximum working pressure can reach 90% of the minimum bursting pressure.

Its good fatigue resistance allows it to withstand full vacuum without support.

No fragment when it ruptures. It can be used in series with safety valve.
